Coaching disclaimer

The scope of what coaching is, what it is not, and where it stops. This is the most important page on the site to read before starting.

Last updated

Draft — not yet reviewed

This document is a structural starting point, not legal advice. It must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer, and every REPLACE: note resolved, before the site goes live.

Not medical advice

Fit With Roshan provides fitness and nutrition coaching. Nothing on this site or within the coaching relationship constitutes medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace care from a qualified clinician.

Always consult a doctor before beginning a new exercise or nutrition programme, particularly if you are pregnant or postpartum, are managing a medical condition, are taking medication, or have not exercised recently.

Where coaching stops

Some things fall outside the scope of coaching and will be referred out rather than worked around:

  • Diagnosis or treatment of injury, illness or pain.
  • Prescription, adjustment or interpretation of medication.
  • Clinical management of eating disorders or disordered eating.
  • Care during pregnancy or postpartum recovery without clearance from your clinician.
  • Any condition requiring supervised rehabilitation.

Results vary

Any transformation photograph, testimonial or figure shown on this site is one person's individual result. It is shared with written consent and is not a promise or a representation of typical outcomes. Results depend on adherence, starting point, health, sleep, stress and circumstance.

Assumption of risk

Exercise carries an inherent risk of injury. By taking part you accept that risk and agree that you are responsible for training within your capability, stopping when something hurts, and seeking medical attention when you need it.

If you need urgent help

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services. If you are struggling with your relationship with food or your body, a qualified clinician or a registered eating disorder support service is the right place to start, and asking for that is always the correct decision.

Qualifications

REPLACE: list the certifications actually held, the issuing bodies, and the year of each. Publishing specific credentials is a stronger trust signal than any adjective, and claiming one you do not hold is a serious problem.
